Sometimes when we feel depressed, it can be a frequency we are picking up from someone else, perhaps a partner, friend or family member.
I was thinking about this yesterday. I feel it’s really important to talk about this kind of thing. In this society we are led to believe that depression (along with loads of other things) are taboo subjects.
I realised for myslef, in the past, when I have felt ‘depressed’ (unable to see the light at the end of the tunnel) it has often been at a time where the people around me are really struggling. This emotion we call depression could be seen as a frequency (aka: vibe!?!) holding you back. Sometimes when an outsider sees your shiny light they might get scared and try to de-press it…it’s the only way they know how to cope. Don’t worry, you don’t have to turn away from them…we could simply acknowledge that their darkness does not have to shadow us, in fact, we can light up the darkness simply by being there but without getting drawn in.
So on that note…the sun went in today in Edinburgh! But don’t let those clouds take over your mind! Remember the light is inside you all the time, blue skies or not 🙂 x
