Where you look…

Today’s practice was all about dristi.
After chanting and chit chat with Jill Manning yesterday I thought about making tomorrows practice solely about that.
I decided, it didn’t matter what the asana looked like or even if I was breathing or not 😉 I would look where the taught method tells you to look.
No matter what.
Oh my – is it hard to keep your eye on the point.
Literally – you see the metaphor here I am sure.
That said, I had a great practice and it all felt quite different to other days.
I remain convinced that what you pay attention to, you will become conscious of.
Where you look your energy flows and that’s where you will end up in life.
Perhaps the nose gazing in an upward dog is to stop us from going through the roof.
To keep us on the ground so we can expand from there with strong roots and a trusty foundation.
Where are YOU looking?
